On the first day of National School Sport Week, 25 June 2012, we will also be celebrating World Sport Day, part of the Get Set Goes Global programme. You can plan World Sport Day as part of your Opening Ceremony.

The London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay will be the biggest event this country has seen as is an important part of the build up to the Olympic Games. We’re offering unique opportunities for your school to be part of the celebrations – including the chance to carry the Olympic Flame, win a cheer kit and/or attend a celebration event.

Schools will also receive a Flame Followers resource pack to help you plan for how to celebrate the Relay coming near your community.

Ideas for NSSW 2012

Register today for National School Sport Week, and we’ll provide you with resources to help you stage your own games. All schools who register will also receive Flame Followers resources and have the chance to be right at the heart of the Olympic Torch Relay.
