Masterclass free prize draw terms & conditions

  • Three separate free prize draws are taking place – one for schools in England, one for Wales and one for Scotland.   We cannot offer free prize draws to schools outside of these countries.
  • No purchase necessary.
  • The closing date for the draws is 5pm on Friday 5th February 2010. 
  • To enter the draw for your country, register your school to take part in Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week before 5pm on Friday 5th February 2010 at: www.schoolsportweek.org (for schools in England and Wales) or at: www.schoolsportweekscotland.org (for schools in Scotland).  You will automatically be entered for the correct country draw.
  • The promoter accepts no liability for schools who are unable to successfully register before the closing date.
  • The winner of each draw will be  the school picked at random by the Chief Executive of Youth Sport Trust or his nominated representative.  The draws will be made on or before 25 February 2010.
  • Each winner will be notified by telephone.  If they cannot be contacted by telephone after all reasonable efforts have been made, an alternative winner will be drawn.
  • The prize is an Olympian or Paralympian to attend each of the winning schools during National School Sport Week (which begins on 28th June 2010 in England and Wales and 7th June 2010 in Scotland) to run a 1 hour master class for up to 30 pupils.
  • The master class may  feature in the press and all participating pupils must have the necessary permissions from their parent or legal guardian to feature in this activity including inclusion in photographs and interviews.  The school is responsible for securing the necessary permissions.
  • The promoter reserves the right to replace the prize for an equivalent prize of similar value in the event of Olympian/Paralympian unavailability.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.  There is no cash alternative.
  • The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • By taking part in the promotion you are deemed to have accepted and be bound by these rules.
